Gemma Moss Equestrian
Gemma Moss is an International Grand Prix Dressage Rider, MCI European gold medallist and British Dressage Accredited Coach whose dedication to the sport shines through both in the arena and in her teaching.
Gemma has vast experience working with horses and ponies of all breeds and types including dressage horses, eventers, county level show horse’s and showjumper’s.
Her philosophy remains the same, correct training and patience leads to success in competition. Slower is faster!
Gemma has a keen interest in classical riding and in her coaching focus’s on the rider’s position, balance, use of hand and leg, teaching riders the correct response’s to the questions the horses ask, not holding to disguise issues.
When riding Gemma asks herself after each session, how did I perform today? The focus being on the riders triumphs and mistakes, not the horses.
Gemma rides for the renowned Manor Farm Lusitano’s and Spring House Stud as well as other suportive private owners. Producing horses from backing to GP, she is experienced in training stallions and takes great pride in caring for and training owners horses.
Based on the Welsh/ Cheshire/ Shropshire boarder, Gemma leads a professional equestrian yard offering top-tier services including: Dressage training & coaching, Livery facilities, Stallions at stud, Competition livery and with an extensive list of contacts in Portugal and Europe, Gemma can assist you in locating your dream Iberian horse.
Gemma’s warm, results-focused approach allows each rider and horse to develop confidence, harmony, and enjoyment throughout their journey together.
